How far in advance should I book?

For major events like weddings large scale concerts, especially in peak summer, clients typically book 6 to 12 months ahead. While we accept last-minute bookings based on availability, smaller events can often be accommodated on short notice.

Do you have a minimum booking requirement?

Yes, the minimum number of people is indicated in the individual menus. However we can be flexible.

Where is the food prepared?

All food is prepared in our council-approved commercial kitchens, with two locations depending on your event.

Do you cater for marquee events?

Absolutely! With over 10 years of experience catering in marquee's, we can set up a kitchen anywhere you need. Contact us for details and costs based on your location.

Can we provide or serve our own food products?

We can cook your food products if we can verify their sourcing. However, we advise against cooking at the same venue to protect our business reputation.

Do you supply the staff? Are there extra costs?

Yes, general preparation is included in the per-head menu cost. Our skilled kitchen and front-of-house staff are charged hourly with a minimum of 3 hours. Current rates can be found on our website.

Do you supply all the equipment we need?

Standard catering equipment, crockery, and cutlery are included in the quote. We can source additional items for your event theme but hire costs will apply.

Do you set the tables?

Yes, we set cutlery, crockery, glassware, and linen if provided. We can fully dress your table with centrepieces, which must be delivered before the event; additional charges may apply.

Do you offer styling?

Yes, we offer styling services and have strong relationships with Perth vendors. Consult our events managers for further details.

How far do you travel?

We are willing to travel anywhere in Western Australia. Additional travel costs will be itemised in your quote.

Can you cater for dietary requirements?

We accommodate various dietary needs, including gluten-free, lactose-free, vegetarian, and vegan. Please inform us in advance. Note that we do not operate from a registered kosher kitchen.

Can CaterMe serve alcohol?

Yes, we can serve alcohol you provide or arrange licensing for beverages. Most of our staff hold RSA certificates. Additional chargers may apply.

How much is the deposit and when is payment required?

A deposit of 25% is required to secure our services. The remainder is due two weeks before the event, at which point we finalise guest numbers and menu options.
