About your role:
As a Head Chef, you will lead the entire kitchen operations and ensure efficient and organised. operations.
Oversee all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and cooking techniques
Develop and maintain high-quality standards for food presentation, taste, and Haccp.
Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
Collaborate with the management and events team to create effectively execute menus that cater to a diverse clientele from the Executive Chef.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the kitchen
Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to maintain profitability
Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into the menu
Based in the Perth Metro areas to oversee different menu themes in a range of venues.
What you should have to qualify
Commercial Cookery Certificate IV or equivalent
Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume catering establishment minimum 6 Year post apprenticeship or certificates.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
Excellent culinary skills and a passion for creating exceptional dishes
Extensive knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Full WA drivers license & able to drive catering van.
